Amélie’s Thank you card
This lovely and chubby baby is Amélie, and her parents asked me for a thank you card to give to the family, the day of her Baptism. They told me they wanted a few lines of a poetry to appear on the card, but other then that, I had complete free will. Since poetry mentioned bees and flowers, I decided on a floral theme and a palette of delicate colors such as green and pink. The sealing wax stamp has a lavender stem as a detail, and keeps the pink cotton ribbon around the invitation closed. The original portrait of the girl was then given to the parents as a souvenir of the day.
I’m really happy with the result: my intention was to make a very simple invitation that the guests would have liked to keep over time, to remember Amélie and the beautiful day spent.
