Bakery Illustrations

When I first entered the little bakery of Cuoremio Pane&companatico, it was love at first sight! The owner, Eleonora, is an energic and cheerful woman who creates and sells the most delicious treats in this tiny tea room/bakery, in a small town close to Bologna. The decoration of the room seams to be popped-out from of Beatrix Potter’s book, and I easily envisioned of my illustrations next to a jar of biscuits. So this is the result of that first day, a small illustration featuring Eleonora as a very busy rabbit backing a pie!
